I got back late Monday night, but was able to see Katie's family who was in town at the glass market and catch up with responsibilities on Tuesday. I dedicated my days on Thursday and Friday to my operations management synopsis and handed it in yesterday (Monday). I pregamed in Kathrine on last Tuesday as there were a lot of people in town but ended up not going out as I had class all day on Wednesday and went to Zoo bar that night for their Spring opener. The line ended up being really long so we went to Cucaracha and got amazing strawberry daquiris. I hit two coffee shops on Thursday- Democratic and Next Door Cafe. I also walked through Normal- a really cool and cheap home goods store. On Thursday night, Shane and I went to see a CPH:DOX event. It was all about the history and comeback of cassette tapes. On one hand, it would definitely be cool to buy some while traveling because they're a lot easier to carry. On the other hand, I'm not sure how useful they are as I have no way of listening to it. It's pretty interesting to hear that sales have been increasing though. After the documentary, there was a live performance by this guy who picked up tapes throughout African markets and played a gig. It was pretty fun and Shane and I drank amazing beer. On Friday, I just relaxed in my dorm and did work in there as I balled out the previous day. I ended up going for a really long nice walk on Friday and picked up a ton of bread from Too Good To Go, some friends picked up cheese/meat/jam and we hung out in Kathrine and had wine. It was such a great night. On Saturday, we went to this outdoor concert near Islands Brygge and there was a band floating on a raft playing Danish music. We went out to Francis Pony that night, drank some amazing cocktails and later hit Chateau Motel (so fun so euro) and obviously ended it with schwarma. Sunday, I really did not have a productive day at all as we got home around 4:30 that morning. Danielle, Teresa and I went to Buzz Kaffebar and got some work done- I really liked this cafe as they had a student discount and definitely plan on going back. Monday, I submitted my essay and tried out another coffee place called Vintage Coffee near Kathrine. They had maybe the best cappuccino I've ever had and I would love to go back for some cheesecake. Monday night, Rachel, Teresa and I went to a quiz night at a bar called Sohesten, we did awful but that's ok. I learned a lot of random facts. Now- I'm at Kaffeplantagen in Norrebro listening to some jazz music and about to start my retail marketing synopsis! What a day, what a time.
I couldn't sleep this morning and as I was laying in bed at 5am (eating some chocolate muesli because I was hungry), I decided I'm going to start posting more photos and just writing descriptions to sum up my days while in Copenhagen. But for now, here are some pics from the past week.
